  1. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CljbBbB9yQP_Uumus2gwFVgz46OLpvxeMSvvDWBqXqs/edit?usp=drivesdk There's the link to who's bringing what for the pitch in. Awesome last minute addition to the raffle. Between the gift swap and the raffle just about everyone has a good chance of leaving with something in hand. Everyone please do me a favor and not get here super early. I'm coming straight from work, should be here by 330 unless I get caught up in some traffic. Staff is another story and I know who's going to be here and that's fine.
  2. I'd take a bag. I ripped out a ton not long ago and it's been slow to grow, might have gotten A little carried away with the trimming
  3. I suppose the 4 1/2 of us will be here so we might as well participate
  4. I just sent Ryan a PM a couple minutes ago offering up my place. I just got confirmation about work schedule being adjusted to make it happen. It took a couple days to figure out who could cover for me. For once my tank is actually fine, needs the typical last minute prep but otherwise presentable. Ross, you definitely have much more space if we have a 30 member turnout, it'll work here but only have seating for about half that. I normally try to host a warm weather meet since we can use the screen patio off the room where the tank is. Up to you guys, just let me know!
  5. That is pretty much what I was thinking size wise. Not crazy about $60 for 1 rack but is what it is. That one is on my list now.
  6. Who here has a glass tank that is 1/2" or thicker and uses a frag rack? Not looking to diy, want something that looks nice. I hate eggcrate in a dispay tank so that's out. I've looked around a bit and several say "up to 1/2" but we all know that as soon as you get a little weight or a fish bumps it its dump city on the sand bed. I'm waiting to put this on the back wall of my tank for healing/grow out.
  7. I'll second the acid bath, you'll be done in less than an hour. It will completely sterilize that rock though so expect a very long cycle and many months to color back up. I did this when I had a huge crash due to an anemone getting shredded in a powerhead. Tub, water, muriatic....gloves, goggles, fresh air, etc. Giant bag of baking soda from costco and rinse/soak. I even have a gallon of acid here and really don't need it all and if another member is done with a huge 150g stock tank I loaned him I can help you if you felt like bringing all that rock to brownsburg. It's pretty simple and poses little risk if you take basic safety measures.
  8. Another huge thanks to Alan and Scarlet for the last minute assist in making this month possible! There was a bit of a mix up in who was taking charge on this one. I was under the impression Ryan was taking over more or less immediately and he wasn't aware so I'll take the blame since I should have at least followed up. Anyway, who else is coming? I'd like to be there, as it sits I'm working until 6 though I've asked to get out early if there isn't too much of a need for me so we'll see. To sweeten the pot I'll put up one of my red yumas as an extra raffle prize! If I don't make it in time I'll be sure to get with whomever to meet up or if you're close enough you could swing by as well. This is my old tank and Alan and Scarlett have done so much more with it than I ever did. I've yet to see it in person but every picture I've seen has been amazing so don't miss it! Not my actual frag but the Yuma in the link below is exactly what you'd expect. Sorry for the link, Edge isn't playing well tonight and doesn't want to let me embed a photo. New laptop I have yet to master. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=red+yuma&view=detailv2&&id=17068CD9B49FF275DB55A77994554B34415CA582&selectedIndex=6&ccid=MNYoacp5&simid=608029081005525714&thid=OIP.M30d62869ca79ebf8adeb4826ef617a71o0&ajaxhist=0
  9. I have a pair of rw-8's that will be 2 years old this winter and they're still going strong. They're not the quietest things if the room is silent but neither are vortechs. For the $ I'd give them a go.
  10. I was able to as well from mobile using Chrome. PM me you info if you'd like me to put it in for you.
  11. If it fits under the sink they make a draon saddle that goes on to the existing pipe and drain lone runs right to it. Then just slap a saddle valve on the copper feeding the sink supply line. I'd do that before the main line. Mostly because it would be a pita to have joined water in the house while you fixed your ro should the saddle valve ever fail. If you ever sell I could also see it as a point of complaint from someone. No one likes holes in their main line. I sincerely doubt it'd freeze in the garage unless it's totally in insulated and you have it near the door. I have a garage door I'm confident is older than I am, and while the garage is insulated it's not even remotely heated and water will not freeze unless it's within about a foot of the door and sitting right on the concrete. If it gets really cold it'll slow output and probably hurt your rejection rate but would likely be fine.
  12. Blue lowe's buckets leak, no gasket in the lid. They do fit tight but I have had at least 10 of them that will let water run down the sides while sloshing around in a car. Salinity bucket would be a good fit perhaps being there's a gasket and they are pretty much air tight. It's a little more narrow and may make removal a little more tough but you get added height and could maybe allow for different sized tiers to for taller frags and not losing too much capacity. Dustin is right on picking them up. It seems simple, reach in and grab. When they are loaded with frags it can be tricky because you're trying to keep everything level to not damage things below while at the same time getting a good hold on the tray full of frags you're picking up. I've tried this before and to leave enough room to get a good place to grab you end up sacrificing a decent bit of space.
  13. Power supply or the controller would be my next guess if it is otherwise in good physical condition. I have a spare one for a 6105 here if you wanted to try it.
  14. Wow, though with something that age with the increased efficiency of a new system I bet your utility bill get slashed by a fair amount.
  15. Nice. The recommended product with those is a gallon of lube. Scary! Lol. Those would come in handy though when you don't have to break out the crazy coral of gloves I have. Like when you drop a random coral and just need to reach in quick to grab it.

    APEX

I did the same, just use the fusion Web interface.
  17. That aND maybe send water off for analysis....find out what is in there. It would be no fun to change out half or more of the water to have the same thing happen and pretty much be flying blind as to what exactly killed them.
  18. If I have time we will try to bring a 5g bucket or 2 of them as well.
  19. We're up to 25. Let's get at least 30! The smoker will be going at 9am! Have to come to see what I'll be bringing. I'll be bringing another canopy to house the audio stuff and have a little extra shade for tomorrow. I may have a couple spare chairs as well. Don't forget those swimsuits. Forecast is 95 and sunny with 0% chance of rain.
  20. No kidding! Only a few more days. The pitch in menu is getting interesting too. So far I see some decent food, a couple children and coral on the list. We've got some eclectic palates in the club it seems.
  21. Not sure where that info went! Probably lost somewhere when it timed out and I had to log back in and I didnt see it missing. Thanks for correcting Amanda.
  22. Time flies! Are you guys ready for the social? I am. I've missed most of the meets this year unfortunately due to work. If you've never been we typically have a large turnout and it's a great way to meet just about everyone all at once. There will be food provided by the club (Burgers, dogs, drinks, etc) This is a pitch-in as well do ask that anyone that can please bring a side of some sort. Have a special mac n cheese? Cheesecake you're famous for at the bake sales? Brownies so good they would make a grown man cry? Bring them and anything else you think that's great too! I'll post a signup sheet link here shortly so we can have an idea what's coming and try not to have 14 pecan pies strew across the kitchen. Dustin usually has an awesome buffalo chicken chip dip he makes. Don't even think about trying to one up that. You'll have anarchy on your hands... Down to the business. As in years past we will be at Amanda's (Mrsbugsmaster)'s house. She's just North of 96th street on Towne Rd, just minutes away off 465. We'll have games for the kids, cornhole, music, and weather permitting a saltwater pool and a basketball court. There's plenty of space for everyone so bring the family and anyone you're trying to get hooked into a reef tank. You'll get to check out a well stocked 180 gallon FOWLR and a rimless Solana mixed reef with awesome colors. Let's show everyone why INDMAS is the best. We'll see you all there! When: Saturday, June 11 Time: 4pm Where: 9710 Towne Rd.
