1. Kill it... if its dead it can't come back is my philosophy. I'm actually doing this as we speak. There is 60lbs or so in a brew out on the porch being prepped for the 90 in a couple weeks. Id rather start over then have issues but at the same time I don't have a lot of live stock at risk.

3. What issues are you having? I was considering that unit for control as well.
4. If you decide to get another pump tim the mag 7 may be a fit for my tank.
5. Not bad, are those rapidled heatsinks ?
6. Thanks for the great meet Katrina and everyone else. Perhaps just list members on the map by zipcode/forum name? Them if someone is wanting a locatation they can request from the other party
7. If Brandon gets it to me I drive within a couple minutes of your house every day Ross. Could drop the breeder by before/after work one day.
8. Its got a TON of information. Close to 400 pages and its built like a tank. It'll be good reference for years to come even after I finish reading it cover to cover.
9. I find ceriths on the rim of the tank constantly. They'll hang out for hours sometimes before retreating back to the tank.
10. Btw I was out all day and never had a chance to mess with the order so I missed out on this one. It wasn't going to be much anyway as I was just getting things for my 5gal since I decided to buy a 90RR on Tuesday I was holding off for a bigger future purchase.
11. I've never heard that before but it does make sense for those animals. Surprising that's the same for shrimp though as asked down further on the page. I guess its probably because I have never ordered online before and the longest I've ever had something in a bag is a couple hrs so it was a non issue w dripping. I did a 90min drip with an rbta the other night and its looking great.
12. Aiptasia get in the tank from an outside source like rock, frag, etc. Pita to get rid of though. Berghia nudibrach is the best way
13. I must be stupid...how do I get my order to be in the group buy?
14. Totally forgot...doing it in just a few minutes. Ill get mine at the meeting if that's alright.
15. Yeah its serious cash but one of the most important pieces. I like the flexibility, not cementing them down makes for easy change out or future upgrades. I was going to get a blank and then just drill/tap myself but this is so much easier. I'm only dealing with 36" though.
16. I was standing right in front of the tank. If I didn't know better it looked like it was throwing a fit, lol. It swam too it, angrily bit the pavona and spit out the piece. Wtf. Its like finding nemo and fish going mad. Oh well I don't like the fish anyway, its got personality but not enough color for me.
17. The makersled heatsink is very high on my list, just trying to decide if its worth $150. I've seen several builds and they have all turned out great using it.
18. I want a flame angel....sort of. I discovered the 4 stripe damsel eating pavona yesterday. Can't say I've ever heard before but I thinks it time for the little guy to move on to a new home.
19. Ill keep an eye on this thread as well, I'm about to start a similar project fir a 90 I'm picking up next week. I've got 72 leds from rapid led already as well as 6 meanwell 60-48d drivers and the 2 channel dimming kit. I need yo decide on a heatsink and mounting style...not sure if ill do a canopy and mount them however or hang from the ceiling. JR lives right by me and has an excellent setup so I'm sure ill have to bribe him somehow for some assistance. If you need any extra whites I may have a couple...I haven't planned the exact configuration just yet.
20. Dustin has a setup w the litermeter I believe. It just does many, many small changes throughout the day I believe as opposed to one huge swap though I'm sure that's something you could probably change in the programming.
21. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Dustin1300" data-cid="69557" data-time="1359463489">
I've ordered from John in past and cannot beat his prices and service for a CUC. I only wish he carried Trochus snails, probably most hardy and efficient tank cleaner I've ever kept.

I've got a couple trochus snails and man do they move... second to the damsel they're probably the most active things in the tank.
22. Suppose I could have read the entire top post... I'm most likely in, ill get a list going. Probably $25-30 from the quick look I did
23. Ill check them out and will likely add some things to the order, when is this to take place?
24. Good to hear its done. For anyone who cares that's a Porter Cable 7424XP. One if the best tools you could have around for a car, or tank. $120 give or take but worth its weight in gold. When do we get to see the water go in!
