hypermikie
I picked up a gently used OceanRevive T247. Wondering what percentages I should start out with on my 24 gallon Aquapod. It is sitting on the supplied mounting legs on the tank. Previously had a 70w MH (20k xm) and 3 x T5 14w Slimpaqs (460nm actinics). Any thoughts on a starting spot and ramp up plan? Jaco
I'd start 45 Blue and 25 white for now. Go up 5% a week until you get it to where you want.
hypermikie
Some additional info for anyone wondering: Tank is 16" deep. Light is 7" above the water using leg mounts. Tank is stocked with mostly LPS, some Zoas and a RBTA. Nem moved within an hour of placing new light. To play it safe I set it to 20% blue and 2% white yesterday after setup. Luke33
I would get the par meter asap as those will push some serious par if you jump up the %. On a shallow tank like that i could see the intensity doubled at 45 & 25% vs a 70w mh.
