icolts
This is the 2nd time I've got this clear fuzz all over. The first time it lasted for about 2 weeks all the sudden went away now it's back. I'm usually pretty good at solving issues like this but this one I'm not sure there hasn't been any real significant change routine for water quality. ReefNewby82
Hmm I'm not sure Jeremy, but it could be this cotton candy type algae I had once in the past. It sucked because you couldn't pull it off the rock either. What are your nitrates and phosphates right now? How often do you trim your macro algae in your sump? All filters good to go and TDS 0 on your rodi?
Luke33
Looks like the algae that grows on dry rock the first year or so. Kind of a pain but generally doesn't get out of control. Use a turkey baster and toothbrush to get rid of it. Generally after time this will stop growing as long as you keep your parameters in check. Some snails would eat it up as well.
