  1. I think there may be a guy in broad ripple but not a hundred percent sure. Maybe search google. No affiliation with indmas.
  2. I also suggest the pheonix bulb. Just a tip it is very blue for a 14k bulb. It may not look the same as the bulb you are running now. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for all the welcomes and the cad lights is nice looks great and have never had any issues with the task. The components that came with it on the other hand ei. (Skimmer) on the other hand. I never liked it. I'm just waiting for their new one to get some time on it to get some reviews after its been out for some time.
  4. Hello! My name is James and I would like to introduce myself since I have decided to become a paying member. I was born and raised in Indy, then spent about seven years living in North Carolina, Florida and Georgia before deciding to move back to Indy. My wife and I have been in Indy for about two years now and are still trying to settle in. I love aquariums and just sitting in front of the tanks just watching everyone. I grew up with saltwater aquariums at my Dad's house and have had my own up and running for about six years now. Before moving to Indy we had a 2.5 gal pico that housed a High Fin Goby and a Pistol Shrimp, a 14 gal BioCube reef tank, 39 gal Cad Lights Signature Series reef tank and a 75 gal fish only tank. We didn't think everything was going to make the trip from GA to IN so we broke them all down, gave stuff out to friends then sold the rest to our lfs. I currently only have three tanks up and running. The 39 gal Cad reef tank with a pair of black ocellaris clowns and a pair of banggai cardinals, a 20 gal long that houses our wartskin frogfish and a 5 gal hospital/isolation tank. The frogfish is our newest addition that we just picked up about three weeks ago and he has been very entertaining. I am getting ready to start building a 125 gal tank, just not sure which direction I will be heading with it yet. In order to keep up with all the things I want to do with my tanks I, unfortunately, have to work for a living. I work as a fabricator/model maker at a wind tunnel on the north side. Before moving to Indy, I was working in the automotive industry. I am an ASE certified master technician, a Jaguar certified master technician and was working on becoming Honda certified as well before changing directions. Automotive industry just isn't what it used to be and it was time for something more stable. I look forward to getting to know every one a little better and can hopefully find out some good information about the hobby along the way.
  5. I saw that ad a while ago on cl and I visited that store when I was in Ohio. They didn't have any tanks in store.
  6. Its all the stock setup. Bubble Magus skimmer, 150w Hqi with 2x 24w T5HOs. It had a UV light but i got rid of that while i was in georgia. I'm not 100% sure on the main pump gph. but I have a 550 gph and a 240 gph Koralia. Wanting to get a Reefkeeper and another 550 gph Koralia to set up on a wavemaker. Also the light is a 14k Pheonix bulb and a blue actinic and a 420 nm light for the T5 s.
  7. I am wanting to show everyone my tank and get some feedback on the aquascape from everyone. The tank is a 39g Cad Lights signature series setup. I purchased it about a year and half ago while I lived in Georgia. I just moved back up to indy a few month ago and finally am getting around to setting it back up. It is currently cycling and I should be getting a clean up crew here soon.
  8. Going back to the pistol shrimp and their digging. I have always placed my base rock on pvc pipes to support them. That way he can dig all he wants and you don't have to worry about your rocks moving.
