No I have no idea what the humidity is at the moment

Thanks for the replys on this topic. I'm glad Aaron had mentioned the humidity because the landlord said it was humidity and the house was too sealed for my tank. Also the tank is 75 gal with 55 gal sump

Ok we have just moved and when we moved in the home had no visual mold. One month later the house has mold on the walls.the mold on the walls is at the complete opposite end of the house as the tank. Our landlord said its the tank causing the issue. My question is has anyone ever had this problem or heard of this problem? Just to add there is no mold in the canopy of the tank or in the room the tank is in!

Orlando I have moved my tank and since I was moving it I went ahead and got rid of all the sand..so far I really like it! One thing I can say.is that the rocks are " shedding" sand so I'm gonna have to siphon the tank more often until it is gone but other than that tank seems more healthy than before

Ok so I was just wondering if anyone that has a bare bottom tank could tell me what the benefits are for them personally. The ups and downs of a dt such as this sdebord I know you have one and its beautiful. I have been in the reef hobby for about a year and considering going this route

Ok well I have just finished my ats and let me just say I am running a large skimmer also and have no plans of shutting it down at all!!! The ats is on the tank to hopefully help reduce phosphates nitrates have been perfect for months Phos is the only problem I will let everyone know how the progress is on it.. And when it starts to grow algae

Ok so what do you guys think my best course of action should be for a tank with high Phos with mainly sps corals? Where is the cheapest place to buy a reactor or does anyone have one they would get rid of

That is a great question I was wondering the same thing because my understanding is that sps/lps require the highest water quality so why wouldn't an ats benefit them as well

Ok so yeah had another member come by and help with my tank we are supposed to build and install an ats Monday. I drain and rinse my food and still have high phos I will let you know how well it works should only cost about 10 bucks

Hello sorry for the slow reply I've got a guy coming to really go over my water params he's from Elwood. Always up to meet new people in my area tho and may still need to set something up anyway!! How long have you been in the hobby? I sure hope I'm on the right track with my reef!!

Hello everyone I am pretty new to the hobby and really frustrated with my algae issue in my reef tank it's a 125g with a 55 gal sump/ with chaeto in it I use ro water and do everything I know and still have problems with algae I was wondering if there was anyone willing to come to Anderson and look at my system and see if we can figure this out!! I have seriously been thinking about building a cheap algae scrubber but it almost sounds to simple if you have any insight and would be so kind as to help us out it would be appreciated

I called for 2 Percs and was told "yeah we have them come on down and pick them up" when I got there after a 45 min drive guess what no Percs or clowns at all.. I left right after my phone call also

Awesome work on the stand!! I have a 125g reef that I would love to have a nice stand and conopy for! At least a stand that I could get my sump under it is a 55 gal sump I need one with about 36" clearance height wise! Think you could help a new reefer
