  2. Also how many fish is to many? I was wanting to put like 6 tangs but now that I'm writing this it sounds like to many. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I will be moving in three weeks and want to start a new tank up. I'm thinking a 220 gal want to get everybody's opinion on how to setup a sump. Right now I have a 110 gal with two twenty gal sumps one is a refugium with live rock and the other has my skimmer and a DIY scrubber screen. I would like to see some other opinions on setups. I plan on getting reef breeders led probably a 48" and possibly a 24" depending on funds. Cal reactor, dosing, other tips would be helpful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. I have a question around the same line. Starting Saturday 3/8/14 5pm my levels were: mag 1292, cal 340 I dosed using aquavitro ions, and calcification. (105ml of ions, and 70ml of calcification) Sunday 3/9/14 5pm levels: mag 1325, cal 380 I dosed again 70ml of ions, and 70ml of calcification. Couple hours later I did my weekly add of aquavitro fuel. The tank got cloudy with in an hour. Monday when I got home at 7pm the tank was just a little cloudy so I went ahead and did a full test. 3/10/14 levels: alk 12.4, mag 1440ppm, cal 340, salinity 1.254, and PH 8.2. This test was done at the end of the lighting cycle. I realize I shouldn't have dosed that heavy that quick(I think, lol) I'm still pretty new into this stuff. The tank has been running for about five yrs now but not alway coral, and is 120 gal with 145gal total. From what I've gathered from some articles pinned on this forum I can just continue to dose cal to bring my numbers around? When I dose cal with B-Ionic will it raise alk?
