Guest Willy Posted March 15, 2005 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 I started cycling my tank on Friday 3-11 with 10# of uncured rock. I'm startin to see some brown algae here and there should I go ahead and get a clean up crew to help control the algae out breaks or wait till my cycle is over? Yes I know this is a big time newbie question but this is the first tank I have started from scratch the other tank I had, I took over. Aquaman Posted March 16, 2005 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Let the tank cycle {brown out phase}.Sometimes it will last a couple days or a couple of weeks depending on water circulation,regular water.ro water,lighting.Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who knows.All I know is that let run it will go away.
