  1. I wouldn't quite call it efficient (120-140w) but i'd call it a nasty neck turd and a great skimmer! Looks great!
  2. Update for today. With no bioload, its pulling out quite a bit.
  3. You should have got everything before you got hitched! And when she gives you crap tell her your rock cost much less than the rock on her left hand, and it doesn't do anything beneficial. Its a real smooth line 8O
  4. I also run a bermuda rogue with a meshmod and a msx200 with a recirc mod pulling 50scfh. Past i've ran a octo 200 as a recirc, asm's, typhoon's, turbofloaters, seaclown's, octo hot's, bakpak's, ER's, Via aqua's, odyssea's, precision marine hot, big mombuza hot, CSS 125, to name a few. All have there pro's and cons.
  5. Thanks Matt. The current HOT i'm using is a CNC skimmer. Its using a sicce 2500 meshwheel at 25w and 40scfh. Its just the prototype and the final version is just been finished and should be in production and for sale in a week or two. Its easily the best hot skimmer around capable of handling a 150g tank.
  6. I'd agree with the no LS remark. If he s getting LR, LS is a complete waste. I think its one of the biggest joke's of the hobby.
  7. Gary, glad to see you still have your sense of humor. I think if my tank gets that bad i'm going to take a bat to it.
  8. There good man, all are huge! I see you still have the rat dog : )
  9. Hello everyone, i'm new to this forum, just wanted to say hello and offer any advice I can on skimmer or pump modifications. I've moddified dang near any NW skimmer and pump out there and have been working with a few manufacturs for a while now. As well as designed a few into production today. I'm currently testing a new prototype HOT that is pulling 25watts at 40scfh. Just wanted to drop a line and say hello. Feel free to PM or ask anything you would like. Thanks, Luke33
