  3. ll I can get a charter that will pick us up on northside for up to 24 people. Total cost including driver and gratuity of 2195.70 or $110 a person if we can get 20 I need firm commitments this will be going to and from schaumberg on Sunday Oct 17th leaving at 7am our time as 2 stops on way up and 2 on way back getting us there in plenty of time for show opening at 11am central time. This is the 24 passenger coach on uscoachwaysinc.com Need firm commitments by 10/7 at noon should be alot of fun......
  4. Anyone going to the October meeting and anyone running for the board positions. Both a week away I will be at the meeting +1 and I cant run for anything else. Would love to see a great turnout and participation in the club by volunteering!
  5. Sounds like this could be the 2021 INDMAS field trip let me work on a couple of things maybe rent a van and meet on the northwest side at 8am Sunday show I believe it opens at 11am Central time sunday Will update the thread

Looking at going on October 17th Details Carpool to reef a palooza Meet at the Pyramids at 86th and Michigan Rd be there by 7:15am Eastern time on Sunday the 17th We will divvy up and leave at 7:30am EST sharp which should put us there by 11:30 am EST or 10:30 Central If for some reason on the 17th your plans change please call or text me directly. Reef a palooza opens at 11am Central I would suggest buying your tickets in advance they are $30 Make sure to bring a cooler for your frags and cash sometimes (especially on Sunday) you may get a better cash deal Please reply in the thread (even if you have already) that you will be joining so I know how many to watch for This should be alot of fun Mike 317 730 7049
  7. Nominations for the 2022 board have now officially started club! Per the INDMAS By-Laws, and in order to have more time to train any new BOD in preparation for the frag swap…the newly nominated positions will now be taking office on November 1st, 2022. Nominations will remain open until the night before the meeting on October 9th, 2021 and voting will take place at the same October monthly meeting (Must be present to vote!!). If you are interested in running for one of the offices below you can nominate yourself or you may nominate another member. If another member nominates you, please accept or reject that nomination on this thread! There is no limit to the number of nominations accepted per position. This is a great opportunity to give back to INDMAS, help assist your local non-for-profit club grow and educate, and to show your reefing pride! So without further adieu here is the list of open positions and current nominees! Want to Give Back? INDMAS is a great reefing community that offers tons of resources for us to keep our piece of the ocean looking at its best. But all of those resources are carefully and diligently planned out by the volunteers on our Board of Directors. This year we have a few positions that will be open to take office on November 1st. These are all one year terms...and the nominations will begin in September. The officers below have done a great job already for 2021, and 1 Year Terms: Membership – currently held by Kyle Price (Silentnight1793) will not be running this year Commerce – currently held by Mikayla Price Education – currently held by Brian Plankis 2 Year Terms: INDMAS Treasurer – currently held by Ben INDMAS Secretary – currently held by Bob Myers Responsibilities of the officers is as follows: http://indmas.org/main/index.php/topic/1203-duties-and-responsibilities-of-elected-positions/  2021 Frag Swap Commerce Committee Don't think you have enough time to swing a Staff position? The INDMAS Frag Swap is a big undertaking and planning for the May 2021 event will start in November. The Commerce Committee is responsible for helping solicit those awesome raffles that you see near the stage every year! They are a pivotal position and work directly with the Commerce Chair to ensure a great fundraiser for the club. How can you help give back to the club and the reefing community? I'm glad you asked! Time 4-6 Address 10873 Olivia Ct Indianapolis IN 46234 They have a 300 gallon display and a 500 gallon system. Make sure to bring a notebook and camera sop you can take notes about one of the best designed fish rooms in the club and a water storage system that could fill a swimming pool.   11. The September meeting will be on Saturday September 18th and is the annual retro frag swap. The retro frag swap is no tanks/no lights/no heaters old school- just frags in coolers to buy sell and trade. Bring cash with you to the meeting or set up trades. Posted thread specific for the retro frag swap in buy sell and must be a member to access that post.   14. Ross- Atomic will be the host of the August Meeting. The setup is an 800 Gallon plywood. This setup is a must see and well worth the drive.   15. I would suggest never moving a tank with water or and in it even a 10gallon put coral /livestock/rock in a container large enough to hold them usually a rubbermaid tub Use the opportunity to put in new live sand if the tank has been going a year Good Luck with the move

  17. The anemone is more than likely the culprit and relocation is probably the best answer on that. Also you might want to check phosphates and nitrates with a test kit just to check where you are at Jeremy may have done that already Mike
