Hello All, Long time. Wish it was under better circumstances. I'm leaving the hobby and need to sell everything I have. I know you want to only allow members access to the buy/sell and don't want people listing here either but everything I have I can't piece it out so its a whole package so I want to pay but it says I already have a membership in my cart but I cant find the cart to pay. I got tired of it and used a 900 gallon treatment of chemiclean on my 220. It was gone next day. Two months later it's back.

I should add that I tried various glues as well but only succeed in gluing my fingers and never can get a plug to stay attached.

Going to Indianapolis Wednesday
jesterisdead replied to alexkharden's topic in General Reef-keeping Chatter
Modern is good as stated The Reef but not good luck the few times I've been there. Believe it or not the Petco on North side off Michigan for fish as the fish manager loves saltwater Uncle Bills in Greenwood but don't let the prices scare you. Talk to them and they will work with you, Tuesday is stock day so Wed should be nice -

You OIP Your IP shouldn't be changing all day. You have a renew IP automatically feature but those are still good for a week and when it autorenews it is usually the same IP assigned to all devices. Look at your main router and see what you have your IP set up for in the renew section. I can turn my router off and pull the plug and the IP will still remain the same.

Some One Come and Plumb My Tank/Sump
jesterisdead replied to jesterisdead's topic in Need a little help here...
I read that they are typically left in for a few weeks, then you can wash only (no soap, bleach, etc) and you should do this no more than three times then pitch it? I have such a heavy bio load I swap out every week and did just rinse really well and then let it dry since i"m not using RODI water to do it. The change out really made a mess of my water and running without a skimmer for a week didn't help so that sock was solid nasty. -
awesome thanks all!

Some One Come and Plumb My Tank/Sump
jesterisdead replied to jesterisdead's topic in Need a little help here...
I fixed the floating sock by tossing in some frag plugs. I got the sump in and plumbed and just had to replace the return pump. It's amazing how much more cleaner my water is already with the new sump/socks. Now I need to get an ATO set up and find out what to do with all the cords. Everything is within 2 feet of an outlet but every cord is 8 foot long it seems and the under side of my stand looks horrible. I also need to get a nice fug light and some macro going. I also have to put a temp/perm fix on my door since I had to cut a 1/4 inch notch out to get the sump in. Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk -
I have a big Enhiem pump that sounds like a chainsaw. There is nothing in it and I ran vinegar through it but it didn't help. Can this thing be fixed or is it time to junk it? Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk

Use any wifi extender. I have one that plugs in to an outlet with a RJ going to the apex. Set up in 10 minutes.

Some One Come and Plumb My Tank/Sump
jesterisdead replied to jesterisdead's topic in Need a little help here...
Ok small bumming out case going on here. The skimmer portion of this sump says 8-9 inches. That the operating height of my skimmer as well. Issue is that the skimmer needed to be raised three more inches so I had to rig a stupid trim board on its side to get the skimmer to height. I can't make it permanent or I wont be able to get the skimmer cup off. Next issue is that the return section has a very low water level and I need to add about a gallon of water a day to keep the return from aerating my tank. Next issue is the sump has a big ole filter sock. Its be nice if the filter sock wouldn't keep floating up and allowing the water to just bypass it and go right into the fug section. An ideas team? -
Some One Come and Plumb My Tank/Sump
jesterisdead replied to jesterisdead's topic in Need a little help here...
I decided to do some cleaning on Saturday morning and while taking out the skimmer is when I apparently cracked the existing acrylic sump that I had. So I figured now would be a great time to go ahead put that Ruby trigger in. So after disassembling everything and ripping everything out the darn thing wouldn't fit it was too wide. Quick call to Jeremy at Modern and he got me a new eshopp R-300 delivered today.. I'm a happy camper I got rid of that wet dry but not about the fact I can't use that Trigger Sump. The new sump is still half the size of the one I need for my 220 but now I can run filter socks or I should say filter sock as this thing is 6 inches across but it should perform better then one I had plus I got gotta fuge now and need to get some macro going Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk -
Some One Come and Plumb My Tank/Sump
jesterisdead replied to jesterisdead's topic in Need a little help here...
Well I installed my new sump. It's not the sump I wanted to put in it didn't fit. I had to trim a quarter inch off my door frame of my stand to get the brand-new sump installed. End result is it's in and plumbed. I need to rerun a bunch of hoses and cables but I'm filling it with water and doing a 20% water change as well. Fingers crossed no leaks and I'll post some pics I'll try to get everything rewired. Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
