His aquariums have appeared on platforms such as Reef Builders, Reef 2 Reef Reef of the Month May 2022 and on the cover of Tropical Fish Hobbyist magazine. Tyler has inspired the reef keeping community to think outside of the glass box and find ways to truly emulate environments seen in nature. Topic: Have you ever thought about adding a mangrove to your reef tank? Or possibly creating a lagoon style aquarium that emulates your favorite snorkeling location? A biotope style aquarium might be a fun approach to step out of the normality of mixed reefs. Come join Tyler as he walks you through his three saltwater biotopes, emulating locations such as the Caribbean and Jakarta, Indonesia. teacherspets Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Just discovered this page and organization because of the frag swap flyer at the reefer and signed up today!!! I am a very novice tank keeper. I have a 32G nanocube with a melanrus wrasse and a maroon clown as the class pet for my grades 3 and 4 montessori classroom. I had another cube about 10 years ago that I ran for about 3 years and had to sell when I got married, built a new house, and had a baby. It was a bit much. I am so excited to be back in this world and for the opportunity to bring the love of these tanks and its many educational opportunities to my students!!! I am so glad I have discovered INDMAS and the frag swap! I plan to be there and learn from all of yours' cumulative experience and expertise! 1 Quote
