TheCarters Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 Ok. So, here me out... I have a 55. It's dope, no problems. I love it. So much in fact, I'm going to move it all to a 125. *side quest - I am selling a 160 acryllic with a bunch of stuff as well* So... here's the question - Will the bottom of a normal glass 125, support the 55 inside of it? Filtration, flow, etc - all that's another story that I'll figure out later. I just mean drain the 55 enough to move it. Set it inside the 125, centered left and right. Fill the 55 and 125 around it at the same rate until it's wherever it's going to stay. Would the glass physically support that? Opinion? 1 Quote
ryansweet Posted December 10, 2024 Report Posted December 10, 2024 Probably, yes. Would I do it and trust it longterm, no way. The stress you’d put on the center of the glass would be a distasteful waiting to happen, most likely. Is there something specific you’re trying to achieve, or just like the look of a glass box inside of a glass box? Quote
