“Upgrading” my 10 gal

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a Fluval Evo 13.5 to upgrade from my current 10 gal. reef.  The only occupants I currently have are several snails, hermit crabs and several pieces of coral.   I’m mainly looking for advice on the best way to move everything over with minimal shock to the coral.  My plan was to siphon water to a brand new bucket to move the coral to while I get the rest of the water and sand into the new tank then place the rock and coral.  Any suggestions or am I totally wrong?  I included a picture of my current setup so that you can kind of see what coral I am moving (I can never remember their names).  Thanks for you help!
