I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Brandon (Reefnewby82) for his contributions to the club as President along with all of the club staff, past and present for everything that they have done. The current staff members can be found here:

I wanted to take this opportunity to review some upcoming events and items of interest on the forums.

First off we have the 1st ever "Pay it Forward" Dry Good event that will be held in conjunction with our monthly meeting at Luis’s home (Gonzo620).  The meeting and event will be from 4-6 this Saturday November 10th. Here is the link back to the Forum thread.  This is a great opportunity for our reefing community to donate something or pickup something that you may need to finish a build!

The second upcoming event is the Annual Holiday meeting and get together on December 8th starting at 4pm.  This event has been moved to Denise’s (Ddzidlick1) home.  We greatly appreciate Denise volunteering to be host of this "can’t miss" meeting.  One of the great features of this meeting is a White Beluga gift exchange (formally known as the white elephant exchange).  The budget for this gift exchange is not to exceed $25 please.  And for you clever reefers out there, you cannot pick up your white Beluga gift at the November meeting.  The December meeting information will be posted shortly along with a sign up for what attendees might bring for food items.

Our 3rd quarter Tank of the Quarter (TOTQ) just wrapped up with Paul (Pauls.46122) winning.  Paul has a beautiful Nano tank and you can check out the specs on this thread. http://indmas.org/main/index.php?/forums/topic/18237-2018-q3-tank-of-the-quarter/

The voting thread for the photo submission for the 2019 INDMAS calendar is now posted.  As always the top vote-getter will be on the cover of the Annual INDMAS calendar. The voting thread will be open until midnight November 18th and the calendars will be available at the December meeting.  What a great gift idea for you or your reefing family!  We are producing a limited run of these so please make sure to pre-order.  We will have these available for purchase in the INDMAS Store shortly.  A link to vote for your favorite pictures is right here:

Look for the T-shirt design contest to begin shortly with a deadline of submissions on December 22nd.  This is the official T-shirt for the 2019 INDMAS Frag Swap. The voting thread will be open from 12/31/18 to 1/12/19 with the winner being announced at the January meeting.  This is a great way to show your artistic design and wear those shirts year round.

Speaking of the frag swap (which you will hear a lot about over the next few months)… Save the Date: The 2019 INDMAS Frag Swap will be held on March 16th 2019 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds at 1900 East Main street in Danville IN.  We are working on an educational speaker for before the official start like last year along with a great line up of vendors hobbyist and prizes. Every year we cannot pull of this event without the help of the entire club. Look for volunteer opportunities coming your way.

Remember to check out all of the forums at INDMAS.org and check our INDMAS Facebook for updates as well.   Feel free to post a question or if you know an answer to post it as well.  As always if you have any ideas as to how we can make the club better or if you have a concern on something please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
