Building a desk for fragging

Recommended Posts

As part of my fish room build, I plan on building a desk to be home base for testing, fragging, etc. As of now, I plan on it being about 48" wide and 30" deep with built in shelving above and drawers at the bottom. The built in shelving will house a small PC that runs a couple monitors in the room for Apex readout and anything else I want to see along with a little storage. As for the drawers, I have 2 ideas: a small sliding shelf that has holes for frag plugs with a drip tray below on one side and a built in bowl with drain on the bottom to hold water. Maybe 2 of these, one for holding items ready to cut and one for coral dip. They'd both drain out the bottom through tubing into a bucket. The desktop could also house a small saw. Is there anything else that would be helpful? I may try to make it in sketchup and add it here first.
