ryansweet
Arrow crabs will eat every last one of them.
roush2000
If the rocks are bare take them out and put them in 3x over salinated water and they will mostly all crawl out to the bottom of the bucket.
dogum99
They are everywhere in my tank. Refuge/sump/equipment/display. I cleaned out my return pump yesterday and when I opened it up 2-3 of them popped out and fell down my finger, palm of my hand and then down my arm. Its gonna be a miserable week as my finger and hand swells up and itches like crazy. I have gloves but they aren't dexterious enough to do anything except move rockwork. coralfarm123
I had a psuedochromis fridmani and it picked at them all the time but not sure if it would help eliminate them. I have a lot of bristles too and get irritated with them. I recently read somewhere about using white vinegar to dissolve the bristles so that is what I have been doing and seems to at least elimate the feeling of having microsplinters in your fingertips. dogum99
Yeah I soaked my hand yesterday and it didn't work. Time before it did.
Budman
Could you use some kind of material like panty hose and bait it. I bet they would get stuck in the material.
dmits41
I've seen Arrow Crabs go nuts on them and used to have a sixline wrasse that liked them as well.
maz644
Do they provide any benefit to your system? I purposefully added a 4" one I picked up at the LFS to my sump thinking it would help with detritus.
dogum99
Yeah they do. But I have become more and more sensitive to them over the years. They used to just annoy me when I would get stung by one now my finger can can swell up.
