Squawk1200
Ok I have a weird one. I've been to a lot of areas that use large rocks that look like they are basically dry rock as boarders for lawns. I've been wanting a really huge rock (boulder) to put in the middle of my 185. My questions is, do you think I can just go to a lawn scape place in Florida and get a big rock and throw it in the tank? Of course I would take all of the normal precautions, but I think I could to this for like 1/5 the price of getting dry rock in Indiana. Thoughts? Luke33
It depends on what kind of rock your talking about. But if its just your normal dry rock that is sold everywhere and just a huge piece then sure. If its river rock or limestone then no. Squawk1200
This is what I'm thinking.
Luke33
I would also do an acid soaking and then a vinegar soaking for a bit, if its outside you have no clue what has happened to it.

CapnCrunch
I'd probably get like 50 lbs of rock and epoxy the suckered and make a boulder. But I've just recently heard I. This guy Billy Hay on Facebook. Runs billy reef connection good prices on rock but I'd pm him or email and tell him what your looking for and see what he can find for you. I belive he's got free shipping on 50 lb or more.
