tprize
So I saw this under my rock next to my annenomie. Did my clowns breed after 6 years? And if so what do I do now?
waldend
I am on a phone and pics are a touch fuzzy but that looks like eggs, congrats! This is an excellent reference on raising clownfish. tprize
Seems like I need live rotifers, and some tank stuff ASAP. Anyone have an old 10g airline tubing etc. laying around collecting dust?

waldend
Is anyone else seeing a link to ebay bikini cream on my "free 10g"? I didn't link it to anything but it seems to be now. Hilarious too!
tprize
You mean clowns don't need that?
romeo1234_00
Dude. I have the same thing going on in the corner of my dead space under the overflow. Didn't know what it was till now. Thanks

jesterisdead
Mine breed about every 6 weeks. Two weeks in they get eaten by dad. I should set up another tank as well but I have to many other things going on now and when I bought the pair i was told thats what he does. No "Lucky Fin" here. lol! tprize
So i read that filtration is not an option, but could you not use a fine net to divide the tank and filter in one half, and larvea on the other?
waldend
The larvae do not handle flow. If you want biological filtration yiu can make a flow through larval tank. Run a filter in a container below larval tank. Divert a small (think trickle) flow from a circulation pump into the larval tank and then an overflow to lower container. You would need 50-ish micron mesh around the overflow.

waldend
Inland Aquatics may have some. Reed Mariculture is a great company and has all the supplies you will need for raising them. Rotifers, algae paste (or live), etc.
tprize
How often do fish lay eggs? 5 days from spawn to new eggs, for me.
waldend
It will vary but your right in the normal range. As they mature and become better conditioned it may shorten a day or two also.
tprize
Wow, I would hate to see this many fry die all the time. I may try to find a place were they can be bred, and give back to the industry.
