solor
What is the largest aquarium you have seen in a mobile home? I am looking at a 220 today and realize it is around 2500 + lbs full. I know it is probably not recommended, but, would it work?
loki
You would have to brace the floor a lot using house jacks
jesterisdead
Depends on where in the mobile home your putting it. The support steel that runs down both sides has cross members for axel etc and could hills the weight. If its on just the partical board and 2x4 is be very worried and don't have an actual load rating.
rhwimmers
Yeah use those house floor jacks - think they are only $40 and can hold a crapload of weight. I put one in my crawl space just to be on the safe side under my 120.
solor
House jacks are a great idea! This is going to be awesome if I can pull this off.
dogum99
What is the floor made out of?
Dustin1300
As well as the floor supports, make sure the tank is completely level too!
solor
I am going to crawl under there and take a look. Hoping it can be made solid without to much work. I don't want it to settle either.
