  1. With the great turn out we had at the frag swap, we gained a lot of new members and had a lot of renewals. Setting up the new members and taking care of the renewals are going to take a little bit of time to get everything updated. Please be patient with me as I am trying to get these done as quickly as I can. It may be a week or so before everything is done. Thank you, Kyle
  2. At this time, current INDMAS Members may reserve a table at the 2018 frag swap by sending an email to [email protected] (or [email protected]) I will confirm table availability and we'll work out payment from from there. This year, the hobby tables will line the wall just outside the educational room (ninja edit, see discussion and clarification below), and will be numbered H1 to H18. (9, 8-foot tables total) I will update this thread over the weekend as spots are confirmed. Looking forward to seeing all of that INDMAS livestock pride! Respectfully, -Ben [Edit: 11 of our 18 spots are full here at the end of the first weekend, thanks for getting right on this! ...if you still want a table, now's the time! ]

  4. I cant believe it is almost time for the best frag swap around already!! Start saving your pennies and making your lists of what corals you are missing for your reef! If you came to the frag swap last year or particpated in the "free frag for a new member" program last year, you know that it was a big success!! We gained around 40 new members and had 8 renewals!! SOOOOO...we are going to do this program again!! BUT, we are going to have a seperate raffle item for those of you who donate!! This will be a cool item that any of us would want to add to our system!! Here are the rules this year... 1) Please bring your frag on a frag plug of some kind and in a specimen cup (if possible). If that is not possible, we are going to try to provide those at the entry table. If you do have a specimen cup, label it with what coral it is and "LPS, SPS, etc)...or we will do so on the cup that we provide. 2) Keep the frag in a cooler if possible until you turn them in to me or another staff member at the entry (please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the swap for this). We need to keep these warm as long as possible since they will be sitting on a table for a couple of hours! 3) Each person may donate up to 4 corals...getting one ticket for each coral donated for the membership drive. (I will start this off with 2 coral donations....so up to 48 total now needed for the goal). 4) Any coral not given away to the new member will go back in the raffle for those who participated in this program to win. If anyone has any macro algae to donate in doubled plastic bags...that seemed to go over well last year with new members. This donation will not qualify for a ticket in the seperate raffle, but will be much appreciated!!! Thank you so much in advance for your participation in this!! This went over very well last year...and we are hoping to at least gain 25 new members this year!! Please note on this thread how many, and what kind of coral please so that there are not a bunch of duplicates. Any coral works, just no NPS please!!
