  1. Thanks! BTW, most of these pictures weren't cropped. Just a close focal point!
  2. New Pics with the ol' Canon! 50mm and 100mm lens. Still have the old 120g tank. 60g frag tank attached. How's your tank doing?
  3. I have a Debelius' Reef Lobster (Enoplometopus sp.). I bought it from a LFS, and it has been around for about 5 years, and made it through a 3 hrs move. I only see it around the late night feeding, where it slowly peeks out from its rock cave in the back of my 120g. They are interesting species to have in the tank. It's large enough that I worry about it bothering smaller fish/hiding wrasses/etc, but haven't had it bother other inverts or known "attacks" on fish.
  4. I've tried both the Fuel brand of AA and the latest fad - Acropower. Really haven't noticed much of a change in growth, but I haven't ever had a consistent dosing routine with it either. My SPS colors may be a little brighter/colorful since starting, but I couldn't prove it with pictures. But really, my colors weren't bad to begin with - I was hoping they would help with growth. I'm also just using T5s, have stuck with them for 9+ years. I have added a reefbrite 48" strip just for actinic pop about 6 months ago. How are your Ca/Alk levels? Are you using 2 part or a Ca reactor? I think that is my biggest factor in growth rate. If I slack off on testing or dosing, and one dips, they sps really seem to suffer in new growth.

  6. I have never seen it in person, but your pic is one of the best pics I've seen clearly showing it. The lesions sure look fungal, which makes sense why Furan-2 is working for a possible cure. Here is a good article I have read in the past on it.
  7. Great Pics! Love the unique tank set up. Really a great idea... What do the Catalina's eat? Tuna scrap pieces? What is your cleanup crew like? I can see a few snails. Anything else?
  8. So these are all sacs at various growth stages. The ones in the middle have the 2 parts of the shell formed and will bust out of the "pod" in a 1-2 days. The ones on the bottom right were laid last night.
  9. Hey! Yes, I'm 99.9% that they are my Hawaiian strombus. Sorry for the late reply... I took my subspecialty boards yesterday and haven't spent a lot online lately! They have really taken off in the last couple months. I think there usually 10-20 egg sacs on just the front glass at all times. Here are a couple pics from tonight.
