  1. My wife and I will be there. We will bring a dessert!
  2. Yeah it is!! I wish the snails would stop moving it lol.
  3. So when I remember I have been dosing my tank with B-Ionic 2 part and Magnesium. I have been thinking about getting a dosing pump but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg. What are your recommendations? I have a 13.5 Evo if that helps.
  4. So I LOVE having a reef tank...however I have found it difficult to keep up with the maintenance and hate seeing it neglected. I am thinking about selling my whole set up (tank, rock, coral, fish, light, etc). If I were to post it on here where which forum would be the appropriate one? And if this isn’t the right forum for this question let me know lol.
  5. I upgraded my light today to the AI Prime 16HD. Trying to research the best lighting schedule but it’s a little overwhelming lol. I have a 13.5 Fluval Evo, mostly softies and LPS with one birds nest. If anyone has any advice I am open to it! I included a picture of my current settings. It’s the David Saxby schedule that in my research I’ve heard good things about.

  7. It was a little over a year old. I only used about a cup or two of the old and used new for the rest.
  8. I just purchased a Fluval Evo 13.5 to upgrade from my current 10 gal. reef. The only occupants I currently have are several snails, hermit crabs and several pieces of coral. I’m mainly looking for advice on the best way to move everything over with minimal shock to the coral. My plan was to siphon water to a brand new bucket to move the coral to while I get the rest of the water and sand into the new tank then place the rock and coral. Any suggestions or am I totally wrong? I included a picture of my current setup so that you can kind of see what coral I am moving (I can never remember their names). Thanks for you help!
  9. Pretty sure...it’s the API 5 in one test strips.
  10. My birds nest has started to bleach. After looking at water parameters everything is good but my PH is about 6.5. Was going to do a water change but the PH in the new water is also around 6. I’ve read the best way to raise it is to use Kalk in the ATO reservoir. Any thoughts or other suggestions?
