I started in the hobby about a year ago. I did the longest cycle ever as I filled my tank with live rock, sand, water, and let it run for six months as life took its toll on me. Finally, I added snails and crabs, then a few fish, then some coral and just when I thought I was a rock star, my tank had a die off. Even today I have no idea what happened. I rebuilt everything and replaced everything and after three months had a heater failure that took my tank to 98deg and killed off all my coral and some of my fish. I'm now on tank build 3 and so far so good. I goggled aquarium clubs locally for help and came across INDMAS. I joined two days before our April 2013 meeting and met a great group of guys and gals at Shanes house (ReefHappy) and thus began my on going affliction of tank envy. I truly loved my little 55 and wished for bigger and now I have a 225. I feel like a crack addict with corals and fish as I truly love the little world I have built and continue to build. Its a live water version of Simcity!
