cmrun
Sounds like a comparison can be made with the forests around Mount St. Helens. It was said that after the volcanic eruption the forest would not come back for 50 - 100 years.... Natures ability to recover and adapt is better than we think. Not that we need to disregard the environment but we can hold hope that survival is better than we may think. The BP oil leak in the gulf also comes to mind... no one has a good explanation as to what happened to all dumped crude oil and how it did not devastate the environment as anticipated or seen at other spill sites. {Not that we need to dump more oil... and maybe the gulf spill is still floating out there somewhere} Another comparison... corals are living in my tank in spite of me.. how the heck did that happen!
