Thank you, I’m going to try to keep posting stuff on the tank. There have already been changes. I’ve switched out my T5’s for LEDs and my refugium is now basically a frag tank. I Got the integrated frag tank idea from Ian, “Coralfarmer” I believe is his screen name. He has an amazing tank. Kent12456
The fan mounted on the stand failed last night after a years use. I was surprised how much salt had accumulated on the fan body even though It was blowing fresh air into the cabinet rather than pulling moist air through the fan. I mounted the new fan on the outside of the cabinet. I hope this one lasts longer. * This fan is extremely quiet, and moves enough air to keep things dry in the stand. Kent12456
We are moving......again as we seem to do every few years so the tank is in the process of being broken down. My 88 year old mother now has a temporary Fish and coral pond in her basement. Ever since I was a kid (I’m 62) my mother has put up with my pets. Grass hoppers, ants, spiders, rodents, a chicken, turtles, snakes, lizards.....sea monkeys, cats, a dog, fish. I’m still doing the same stuff I did when I was ten years old. The temporary pond is a kids wading pool with an additional black pond liner added as a second liner. power heads, heater, skimmer, fish and coral are in. The rest of the lights are being hung tonight. Hopefully this all goes well. My last temporary set up during a move was a disaster.
